Trauma tends to cause people to feel powerless & out of
control of their lives. They often have trouble naming what
happened to them, they may feel isolated, blameworthy, and
overwhelmed by their own thoughts, feelings & body
sensations. They may not know healthy ways to stabilize their
bodies, recover their sense of themselves, or how to develop a
sense of community with caring for others. Our goal is to help
you understand how trauma affects the mind & body & guide
you on your own path to healing trauma with therapies that
support the autonomic nervous system & the parasympathetic
nervous system.

Nutrition
Nourishing foods enhance our ability to heal, rejuvenate, and develop resilience capacity. We will talk about food choices, make and eat nutritious meals together while building relationships, teamwork, joy, and a sense of mastery.
Nature Walks
Walking brings bilateral stimulation, increased oxygenation of the brain, neuro-chemical rebalance & multi-sensory stimulation through the beauty of nature. It can redirect excess energy while increasing focused energy through the body.
Yoga
Yoga brings relaxation and stress release, strength, flexibility, and balance, re-association with one's body and improved spatial orientation. Meditation quiets the mind, adjusts brain waves, improves sleep, increases focus, and regulates emotions.
Connections Group
A healthy support system is vital as we navigate the ups and downs of life. Together, we build meaningful connection through check-ins, caring conversation, group activities, and healthy laughter over a tea and coffee!
1:1 Therapy
We offer a safe & confidential space with a qualified therapist. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, negative behaviors, or other life challenges, we provide compassionate guidance & practical healthy strategies to build perseverance & develop coping skills.
Visual Arts
The visual arts offer multi-sensory stimulation, bi-lateral stimulation, and self-regulation. Creative expression brings self-discovery, development of coping skills, ways to communicate and a feeling of accomplishment. Our offerings include weaving, clay work, painting and drawing.
Horticulture
Gardening & land work is calming, physical, purposeful, multi-sensory, and improves memory, cognitive abilities & patience. Work in the outdoors with others also enhances conversational skills, problem solving, & socialization creating a deep sense of connection & belonging.
Neuro-Entrainment
Supportive neuro-entrainment devices, such as Mind Alive, Alpha Stim, and HRV (Heart Rate Variability), are a therapeutic tool proven to assist in regulating brain waves to positively rebalance emotional & mental functioning to aid in the overall healing process.
