OUR MISSION

Camphill Soltane provides an inclusive setting for achieving creative development, social engagement, clinical therapy, & meaningful employment for adults with intellectual differences and the broader community so that all may find fulfillment.

OUR NAME

Camphill Soltane was named from the Parzival legend. In the story, a young man named Parzival grows up in an idyllic clearing in the woods wherein his strength could be nurtured until he was ready to leave his home and fulfill his destiny in the world. The name of that clearing was Soltane.

OUR WORK

Camphill Soltane was founded in Chester County, PA in 1988. As a proud member of the international Camphill movement, we see the vision of a threefold social order achieved through the intentional development of community, cultural, and enterprise-based initiatives. We do this by facilitating enrichment of the whole person through art, horticulture, music, meaningful work, therapeutic support, and festival gatherings that can be accessed by all.
