Soltane Therapeutic Services Board

A Compassionate Team

Rebecca Vlam, sts board chair

Rebecca, with a 25-year career in community mental health, has been imparting her invaluable expertise at The Center for Social Work Education at Widener University for the past six years. With a dual focus on both micro and macro practices, she empowers social workers by enhancing their clinical skills and fosters systemic change through proactive organizing and dedicated volunteering. Beyond the classroom, Rebecca generously offers her services pro-bono, managing a private practice where she sees clients and supervises upcoming professionals. She is also deeply committed to advancing trauma education, aiming to equip both practitioners and their agencies with the tools to effectively manage and mitigate trauma impacts.

Joey Shannon

MSW, LCSW

Director of Healing Focused Services, Director of Clinical Services

Joey brings over 20 years of experience to Camphill Soltane and Soltane Therapeutic Services, having specialized in acute (inpatient) and outpatient/community behavioral health, medical social work (trauma/ICU), child development, program administration, teaching, supervision and training with various populations and demographics. While Joey is passionate about making therapeutic services and interventions (including but not limited to trauma therapies, EMDR, neurofeedback) available to those historically underserved and disenfranchised, her driving passion is helping folks understand the many  misunderstood effects of trauma which often manifest as challenging behaviors and empowering folks to heal and overcome those obstacles towards living their best life.

Jolynn L. Haney

PhD, LSW

Jolynn became involved with Camphill Soltane when she joined the Board of Directors in 2021. She was initially drawn to Soltane's mission, which focuses on achieving inclusivity and creativity, supporting emotional well-being, and offering meaningful employment. Jolynn appreciates that Soltane consistently encourages interactions and shared experiences, creating a more inclusive and compassionate society. Soltane Therapeutic Services (STS) furthers the mission by promoting a holistic approach to mind-body wellness. As a board member, she is pleased to be able to support STS and its clinical staff in fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and support. Anthony Stukes

Anthony Stukes has over 25 years of experience providing mental health support to adolescents, young adults and families in various therapeutic settings.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Temple University and attained his Masters in Social Work from Widener University. Anthony currently provides clinical mental health support to clients of all demographics at his private practice in Coatesville Pennsylvania.

Anthony’s professional settings have provided him the opportunity to support thousands of youth and their families. Anthony discovered early in his career that adolescent mental and behavioral struggles are common and can be used as a source of identifying resilience. Utilizing a combination of ego supportive techniques and objective listening, Anthony has found success in opening lines of communication between adolescents and their families as well as improving clients’ abilities in meeting their personal goals.
