Coworkers receive a modest monthly stipend to help cover personal expenses and vacation needs. Room and board, basic medical insurance (after three months), and a private room with a shared bath are provided to all coworkers. Householding couples or families are given a larger monthly stipend and tuition is provided for any children at the Kimberton Waldorf School .

U.S. citizens and green card holders may be eligible to join Camphill Soltane through AmeriCorps, and earn an Education Award of $5350 after 11 months of service (for all periods of service starting after July 1, 2010). This may be applied to student loans, or to tuition expenses up to 7 years in the future. Student loans are also put into forbearance during your AmeriCorps service.

Coworkers have one day off during each week; couples have the same day off. Holidays are observed and a substantial amount of time is given for each major holiday, in addition to occasional weekends off during the year.

Once coworkers are accepted they must finance or arrange their own transportation to and from Soltane.
