Local Volunteers

Volunteers from the local community are welcome and encouraged to become involved at Camphill Soltane. Volunteers can help to make a difference, and will encounter personal growth and development while working in the community. Each volunteer is paired with a student or graduate to help mentor or teach, based on personal interests. Volunteers can serve during the morning, evening, or on the weekends.

Criteria and Admissions

Please inquire with our Coworker and Volunteer Coordinator to express your interest in volunteering, and to set up an initial meeting. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. The Volunteer application includes three references and a background check. Volunteers are asked to make at least a one year commitment, to provide stability and continuity for the students or Community House residents with whom they are working. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from Camphill Soltane.
